Postpartum Support International has a mission of support, education, advocacy, and research for people living with mental illness through various activities, including: – PSI’s website receives more than 100,000 visitors a year who seek PSI for support, education and local resource information.
800-944-4PPD (4773) – PSI’s toll-free Help Line, in English and Spanish, serves more than 100 callers a month, and rapidly refers callers to appropriate local resources including emergency services.
Online Support Groups in English and Spanish every week, led by trained PSI facilitators.
Free Phone “Chat with the Experts” First Mondays for Dads and every Wednesday for Moms, facilitated by PSI Professionals.

Anyone of any age who is experiencing a personal, emotional or mental health crisis can call 24 hours a day. When you call Crisis Services you will always speak with a professional counselor or trained paraprofessional volunteer. Our hotline counselors are dedicated to providing the best services to every caller. Our hotline counselors are trained in telephone lethality assessment to assess the level of individual risk and to determine the appropriate level of services. We provide crisis counseling, suicide prevention, support, information and referral. We triage each call in order of emergency so please be patient and stay on the line, your call is very important to us.
