Rest and Roots

Rest and Roots

I created, Rest & Roots, as a nurturing space for moms to connect, share, and grow together on their journey of motherhood. Grounded in a holistic and attachment-based approach, these meet-ups provide support for mothers seeking gentle, connection-focused ways to help their babies sleep without sleep training. Together, we explore the roots of baby sleep, maternal wellness, and the power of community, all while embracing rest for both mom and baby. Join us in building a community where deep connection and mindful rest take root. (Babies are welcome to join) I am so excited to welcome back Anna! Anna Gavlock is a Center for Babywearing Studies Certified Educator with a passion for supporting parents through the journey of babywearing, from the fourth trimester through toddlerhood and beyond. Anna is a mother of two and works professionally as a Speech Language Pathologist. Anna’s love for babywearing began when her first child was a newborn, and she quickly realized that there were so many options beyond what was offered at the popular baby stores. In her search for guidance, she discovered a gap in local resources for parents looking to learn about babywearing, which led her to pursue certification. Today, Anna runs a rental program with over 50 different carriers and offers personalized services, including one-on-one consultations, fit checks, and introductory calls, both in-person and virtually. Through her work, Anna empowers parents to choose the best babywearing options for their unique needs, helping parents find comfort, connection, and confidence in every carry. Secure your spot
